About the role

  • Implement and manage security controls and automation in a DevOps environment within public clouds.
  • Define the need and assess relevant tools to address security & automation challenges within cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage and optimize a highly complex infrastructure and CI/CD setup.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum teams to share the responsibility of managing the CI/CD process, particularly for individual microservices.
  • Prepare application setup and infrastructure scalability for High load scenarios, High availability scenarios, 0 downtime deployments.
  • Manage Cloud and On-Premise services such as Atlassian stack, Email servers etc.
  • Engage in the creation, deployment, and maintenance of Microservices infrastructure.
  • Customize configurations for distinct product types, in line with complex business rules.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of our Azure-hosted servers.
  • Automate things rather than doing them twice.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Kyma and knowledge in managing enterprise applications on Kubernetes is desirable.
  • Scripting expertise in either Bash or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and Git Actions.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, specifically Spring Boot and AWS Lambda Functions.
  • Understanding and experience with serverless programming.
  • Knowledge of tools like Kuma, Kompass, Helm, and SAP Commerce Cloud will be considered an added advantage.
