About the role
- Perform full-stack software engineering using React, Python, Django, and MySQL.
- Ensure all system development aligns with established design and architecture standards.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and reliable build, test, and release processes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor and enhance cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost efficiency across platforms like AWS.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring workflows.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure, application code, and deployment pipelines.
- Support management of staging, production, and development environments, including access control and resource scalability.
- Strengthen system observability through improved logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
Requirements
- Core technical expertise: Strong full-stack software engineering skills.
- Preferred technologies: Python, Django, React, JavaScript, MySQL, Single Page Applications (SPAs), and AWS services such as Lambda, CloudFormation, and RDS.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in core full-stack development and related technologies.
- Demonstrates a DevOps mindset with strong engineering fundamentals and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Experienced in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments.
- Proficient in advanced deployment strategies, including Blue-Green and rolling deployments.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, including design, scalability, and management.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Skilled in observability engineering, including building and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Contribute to shaping and advancing the organization’s business intelligence (BI) and data management strategy.
- Strengthen and evolve the organization’s cybersecurity posture through proactive initiatives and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering an open and inclusive team culture.
