Senior Principal Power Architect – MCU

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, architect and DC-DC systems for integration in Microcontroller (MCU) products and for MCU based systems
- Work with system architects and marketing to develop power solutions for MCU based products
- Define innovative DC-DC, switcher architectures including buck, buck-boost and boost converters
- Simulation of DC-DC, switcher architectures including digital control and analog impairments using simulators like matlab, Simplis or equivalent
- Block level analog design when required including layout oversight, review and signoff
- Work with analog and digital designers to implement architecture and ensure that requirements are met before AND after tape out
- Mentorship and development of junior engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in electronic engineering required
- 10+ years of product development experience including switch mode power supplies design and architecture
- Strong and effective communication and teamwork skills
