About the role

  • Define, analyze, and validate safety concepts and architectures across embedded hardware and software systems.
  • Develop safety requirements and perform analyses.
  • Support implementation teams and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 or similar safety standards.
  • Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to deliver robust, certifiable solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts.
  • Capture requirements in requirements management tools.
  • Perform FTA, DFA and FMEDA.
  • Assist in audits, assessments, and internal safety reviews.
  • Support and enable customers for various safety products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in functional safety related design and development for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive Suppliers.
  • Strong concepts in Micro-controller and Micro-processor use-cases, applications and architecture for Automotive.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262 or IEC61508 based development lifecycle and safety work products.
  • Strong motivation to support customers.
  • Strong understanding of IP and SoC level Safety mechanisms.
  • Hands on experience to Safety analysis tools like Medni for FTA, DFA and FMEDA.
