Sales Manager – India
NX FiltrationSales Manager in India focusing on membrane module sales for municipal and industrial customers. Building relationships and managing existing sales activities in the water business sector.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director
- Intensive customer contact with new and existing customers in the Water Business
- Selling membrane modules to OEM´s, municipal and industrial customers
- Generation of new leads and maintaining a strong network
- Manage and expand existing sales activities
- Find new leads and develop lasting relationships with NX Filtration customers
- Prepare and submit proposals and quotations to customers
- Coordinate sales activities and communicate customer requirements
- Attend trade fairs and help select and prepare samples and promotional materials
- Maximize sales and gross margin of standard products and components
- Negotiate and close sales contracts
- Generate sales opportunities and leads
- Support Engineers in communicating with customers during delivery and implementation phases
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSc. or MSc. in a commercial or technical field of study
- Work experience in a sales-driven role
- Experience in using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
- Strong time management skills due to the international nature of the role
- Command of the English languages in word and writing, proficiency in other foreign languages is desirable
- Experience in water business, especially membrane technology is desirable
