About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, organize, execute, evaluate, and improve internal information security services, controls, policies, and procedures
- Define NVISO’s internal security roadmap and coordinate its implementation
- Monitor the organization’s security posture and safeguard robust internal security hygiene
- Assess new business requirements for security posture, recommend mitigating actions, and support or control implementation
- Document and maintain security processes
- Coordinate implementation of a security process maturity-improvement action plan
- Stay current with important developments in cybersecurity
- Ensure security policies are defined, implemented, and controlled
- Maintain security and privacy evidence and documentation for client requests and respond to security and privacy questionnaires
- Contribute to consistent IT enterprise architecture
- Review and co-create security solution architectures for office and business environments
- Review and evaluate emerging technologies
- Take responsibility for security audits and certifications, such as ISO27k
- Own security governance and strategy through leadership consultation and steering committees
- Serve as liaison between business and technical teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 4 to 7 years of proven working experience in Security Operations or Management (ISMS)
- Affinity with privacy regulation (GDPR) and privacy management frameworks
- Good knowledge of IT environments, including network, application, cloud, and AI services
- Solid understanding of IT and security control frameworks
- Good structuring, problem-solving, and work-organization skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Effective liaison between business and IT
- Team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment and likes to build and drive change
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Comfortable with deadlines and ensuring projects are completed on time and to high quality standards
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
