About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Specialize in managing and leveraging Purview for data security and compliance.
Assess, design & implement information protection schemes for Clients, including sensitivity labels & encryption.
Design and implement Data Loss Prevention across the M365 stack and users’ endpoints.
Design and implement data retention solutions based on legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design strategies utilizing Purview.
Monitor and ensure adherence to data privacy and protection regulations.
Develop and implement best practices for data protection & governance within Purview.
Provide training and technical support to colleagues on Purview capabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship.
Excellent communication skills in English and German.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Microsoft Cloud technologies, with specialized expertise (2+ years) in Microsoft Purview.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview, and experience with its interactions with other Microsoft 365 technologies such as Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint.
Solid understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, and experience ensuring compliance within Purview environments.
