Explore networking features and protocols, hardware/software capabilities, open-source software and drivers for Ethernet Switch ASICs and Networking platforms
Be familiar with Ethernet Switch ASIC hardware and software stacks, as well as Ethernet Switch platform design and characteristics
Define and implement Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) using network/system simulations
Write technical requirements for embedded software meeting AI/ML workloads' needs and high-performance network operations
Collaborate closely with R&D and Validation teams, providing technical guidelines and close support

What you’ll need

B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
1-5 years of experience in system architecture, networking technologies, and embedded software
Knowledge of operating systems for networking devices and networking features and protocols
Demonstrated ability to conduct research, prototype ideas, and describe them clearly both verbally and in writing
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment
Knowledge of Ethernet/IP technologies, networking operating systems, simulation and performance benchmarking tools
Practical research related to data-center networking and/or Switch ASIC hardware and software
Applying ML/AI methods to solve networking problems
