About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and own the configuration schema for LSF cell deployment
Build the deployment pipeline from configuration merge to production across a federated estate
Implement staged rollout and rollback
Eliminate configuration drift across scheduler cells and build tooling to prevent recurrence
Establish a regression suite for scheduled LSF upgrades
Collaborate with the LSF internals engineer to encode scheduler expertise into templates and policy
Own the config-as-code foundation for NVIDIA’s EDA compute farm end to end

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
6+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong configuration-management experience
Experience with Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, or comparable tools
Experience with GitOps at scale, including review workflow, environment promotion, drift detection, and safe rollback
Proficiency in Go, Python, and shell
Experience automating stateful, long-lived infrastructure
Familiarity with LSF, Slurm, or another batch scheduler as a configuration target
CI/CD experience for infrastructure
Experience building test environments that meaningfully resemble production
Observability/instrumentation experience
