About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Spearhead the conception, development, and execution of data center networks for NVIDIA customers under the Plan, Design, & Implement framework
  • Advance comprehensive technology solutions for strategic customers in web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise datacenter domains
  • Identify business technology improvement areas and provide recommendations to marketing and engineering teams
  • Provide Ethernet and routing expertise during project delivery to design, architect, configure, and test networking solutions
  • Work with multifunctional teams on server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads, and GPU-enabled AI applications
  • Craft and evaluate DevOps automation scripts, design architectures, and develop switch fabric configurations
  • Implement network configuration and validation tasks for data centers
  • Create Methods of Procedure and deployment documents
  • Validate network architectures and configurations in the lab
  • Create and customize network automation scripts for customer needs using AI tools
  • Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and design optimal solutions
  • Use software and AI tools to validate and monitor network performance
  • Create project handover documents for customers
  • Travel onsite to customers' data centers for initial configuration work, up to 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of expertise in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switching, routing, and data center architecture
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters, including CLOS and spine-leaf architectures
  • 2+ years of strong proficiency in BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN for network design and troubleshooting
  • 2+ years of overall Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, and routing experience
  • 2+ years of advanced network troubleshooting using packet sniffers and analysis tools
  • 2+ years of Linux administration and computer hardware architecture experience
  • 1+ years of direct customer-facing experience in network requirement gathering, analysis, project planning, and deployment
  • 1+ years of network automation using Ansible, Salt, and Python scripting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks and work as a team player
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% and work non-standard hours as needed
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Air, GNS3, or EVE-NG
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar network and server management tools
  • Personal Git repository with examples of Python coding expertise
