About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, roll out, and uphold system software that allows for efficient communication between GPUs.
  • Participate in the architecture and build of next-generation communication hardware and software that support large-scale computing platforms.
  • Drive platform bring-up, feature enablement, end-to-end software validation, and debugging for next-generation NVLink-based GPU and rack-scale systems.
  • Triage and resolve complex software, firmware, networking, and platform issues across validation, deployment, and production environments.
  • Contribute to software quality, performance optimization, reliability, and scalability across the GPU networking software stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand business and technical requirements and deliver software solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience, or Master's degree or comparable experience, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Excellent C/C++ programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with shell scripting; experience with Python and Perl is a plus.
  • Experience developing software that collaborates with device drivers and exposes hardware functionality.
  • Solid grasp of computer architecture, operating systems, Linux kernel internals, and systems programming.
  • Solid Linux development background and the capability to operate efficiently across multiple platforms, including Linux and Windows.
  • Experience developing multi-core, multi-process, and multi-threaded applications.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA/RoCE, routing, switching, and fabric performance analysis.
  • Experience with operating system virtualization technologies such as KVM, QEMU, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional, and distributed teams.
