About the role
- Lead and coordinate initiatives that support low-resource language AI projects, aligning them with NVIDIA's ambitious organizational goals.
- Engage with linguists, language communities, NGOs, researchers, and policymakers to inform and successfully implement program priorities.
- Maintain AI model behavioral policies to ensure alignment with ethical standards, legal requirements, and user impacts across diverse contexts.
- Contribute to the broader policy landscape by promoting NVIDIA’s AI behavior guidelines and providing feedback to the community to support responsible AI development.
- Identify linguistic tactics used to bypass guardrails and develop adversarial test sets or fine-tuned models to strengthen AI defenses against prompt circumvention.
- Identify and mitigate potential ethical, sociocultural, and governance risks, in collaboration with responsible AI and legal teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program or product management, preferably in AI/ML, NLP, or social impact technology.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a closely related field or a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in one of these fields with substantial industry experience in natural language processing (NLP), adversarial ML, and dataset creation for AI models may also be acceptable.
- Proven track record of managing interdisciplinary and multicultural projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on documentation, prioritization, and reporting.
- Familiarity with LLMs, language data lifecycles, or multilingual NLP.
- Passion for linguistic diversity, digital equity, and inclusive AI.
