About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook
Support content development including copywriting, basic graphic design, short-form video, and story concepts
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages as appropriate, and flag engagement opportunities
Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media best practices
Assist with social media campaigns, events, and special initiatives
Help maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across platforms
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited undergraduate (Junior or Senior standing) or graduate program in a related field.
A GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred.
Experience creating social media content for a company or organization is preferred.
Must have strong written communication skills and a familiarity with social media platforms.
Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
