💰 $108,908 - $131,441 per year

About the role

  • Performs and documents evaluations of components to the rules and requirements of Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
  • Utilizes the results from these evaluations to optimize component(s) design
  • Interacts with co-workers and other disciplines to promote effective coordination of design activities and resolution of technical problems
  • Adheres to the NuScale Safety culture and is expected to model safe behavior

Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 6 years of full-time relevant working experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with engineering design and stress engineering analysis in the nuclear industry
  • Expertise with the ANSYS computer program
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
