About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
Provide Delegations of Task or other training to a care team
Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendation on complex care plans
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Nursing tasks include – medication administration, wound care, head to toe assessment, vitals signs, pain assessment, liaising with physicians, diabetic management
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living)

Requirements

What you’ll need

COMPASSIONATE, KIND CARING & MAKING A DIFFERENCE in the life of a senior
Loves to care for others
Driver's license and a vehicle is an asset but not a requirement
Negative TB Test
Valid First Aide/CPR
Clear Criminal Record Check
Valid LPN License
Hospital, home care and palliative care experience is an asset
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Other languages an asset
