About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into detailed drawings.
  • Utilise your expertise in cable ladder design, switchrooms, panels, P&IDs, loop diagrams, substation & MCC layouts, lighting & power layouts, and instrument junction box layout designs to contribute to our projects.
  • Develop project CAD execution plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide input for software development to enhance drafting practices.
  • Share your electrical and instrumentation expertise by assisting others in design and utilisation of CAD software.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Electrical / Instrumentation design.
  • Technical Diploma, trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in mining, minerals processing, or energy/oil & gas industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-discipline projects.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards.
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD 2D or MicroStation 2D and 3D modelling experience in at least one CAD program.
  • High desirable to have Aveva experience.
