Key responsibilities & impact

Ability to lead an engineering concept and convert it into a 3D design.
Lead drafting deliverables for accuracy, completeness and adherence to design specifications & intent.
Apply attention and diligence to uphold quality standards, and client requirements, to complete tasks efficiently.
Create 3D designs from complex, multidiscipline engineering concepts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industries.
A strong understanding of relevant Australian standards.
Experience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
Proficiency in AutoDesk 3D modelling programs, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Vault and Plant3D
Ability to work autonomously.
Previous skills or Interest to expand into SMP design
Willingness to adapt to a changing role
Pointcloud Scanning skill are a perk but not required
Proven skills in Advanced Steel,
Concrete design and detailing
