About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for teaching fiber optic installation,
- Fusion splicing,
- Ribbon splicing,
- Testing,
- Troubleshooting,
- And broadband deployment practices to a variety of NTT's clients.
- Instruction is delivered through classroom presentations,
- Hands-on laboratory exercises,
- And field-based demonstrations for telecommunications,
- Broadband,
- Utility,
- Construction,
- And industrial professionals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum five (5) years of hands-on field experience performing fiber optic splicing,
- Installation,
- Testing,
- Or network deployment within the last five years.
- Current Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification.
- Current Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certified Fiber Optic Specialist - Splicing (CFOS/S) certification.
- Previous experience teaching,
- Instructing,
- Mentoring,
- Or facilitating adult learners.
- Demonstrated experience with fusion splicing equipment and fiber optic testing instruments.
- Experience teaching classroom and hands-on lab courses in a professional or technical training environment.
- Working knowledge of fiber optic installation standards,
- Testing methodologies,
- And industry best practices.
- Current driver's license.
