Key responsibilities & impact

Development, enhancement and maintenance of web applications in the GIS domain
Maintenance and expansion of existing applications based on GeoServer technologies
Technical support and assistance to business units in the use of GIS solutions
Collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize our systems
Participation in innovative solutions for the municipal sector

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS
Expert-level knowledge of Java — especially for developing web applications with GeoServer
Excellent German language skills (minimum C2 level) required — both written and spoken
Willingness to undertake occasional business trips within the region (primarily Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt)
Desirable: knowledge of C#
Experience with municipal administrative decision/notification processes and, if applicable, cash register/payment systems
Understanding of workflows in municipal administration
