Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Obtain Certificate IV in Correctional Practice within 24 months of employment and within 12 months of commencing training
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willingness/ability to drive within NSW
  • Ability to complete a mandatory four-week, in-person, paid training program at Brush Farm Academy
  • Clear communication
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Integrity, resilience, and sound judgment
  • Cultural awareness, especially with Aboriginal and CALD communities
  • Confidence handling tough situations with empathy
  • Strong commitment to growth and community safety
  • Cover letter maximum 2 pages
