About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high-quality network and Wi-Fi solutions across NSW by installing, supporting and optimising core infrastructure in both project and operational environments.
  • Configure and support Wi-Fi access points, install and implement network switches and related network hardware
  • Maintain accurate documentation, CMDB records and installation standards
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely and on-site, providing clear technical guidance
  • Ensure compliance with security, policy and industry best-practice standards
  • Conduct site surveys, quality checks and identify upgrade needs
  • Prepare technical documentation for approvals and reporting
  • Raise and manage changes, attending CAB as the technical SME
  • Work both independently and collaboratively across delivery and operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in Wi-Fi, switching, OSI/TCP-IP, BGP, OSPF
  • Strong Cisco IOS, JUNOS, WLC and AP deployment skills
  • Ekahau ECSE Design + APoS & predictive modelling (mandatory)
  • Proficiency with SolarWinds and network diagnostics
  • NetScaler ADC experience (mandatory)
  • Solid BAU support + project delivery background
  • Hands-on skills with VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN and switch config
  • NSW driver licence + willingness to travel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
