About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality network and Wi-Fi solutions across NSW by installing, supporting and optimising core infrastructure in both project and operational environments.
Configure and support Wi-Fi access points, install and implement network switches and related network hardware
Maintain accurate documentation, CMDB records and installation standards
Troubleshoot issues remotely and on-site, providing clear technical guidance
Ensure compliance with security, policy and industry best-practice standards
Conduct site surveys, quality checks and identify upgrade needs
Prepare technical documentation for approvals and reporting
Raise and manage changes, attending CAB as the technical SME
Work both independently and collaboratively across delivery and operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expertise in Wi-Fi, switching, OSI/TCP-IP, BGP, OSPF
Strong Cisco IOS, JUNOS, WLC and AP deployment skills
Ekahau ECSE Design + APoS & predictive modelling (mandatory)
Proficiency with SolarWinds and network diagnostics
NetScaler ADC experience (mandatory)
Solid BAU support + project delivery background
Hands-on skills with VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN and switch config
NSW driver licence + willingness to travel
Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
