About the role

  • Work on security for Azure and AWS cloud environments, performing configuration, review, and continuous improvement of security controls.
  • Administer and enhance network security controls, including segmentation, firewall rules, VPNs, NAT, access control, and connectivity between environments.
  • Perform firewall management and hardening, evaluating rules, flows, risks, and impacts on the environment.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate information security risks, proposing technical and structural action plans.
  • Support security incident investigations by conducting root cause analyses and defining corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to ensure Security by Design in solutions.
  • Contribute to the definition, review, and evolution of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing technical evidence for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • Keep up with trends, threats, and best practices in cybersecurity, contributing to the organization’s security maturity improvement.

Requirements

  • Solid and proven experience in Information Security at a senior level.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, load balancing, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with firewalls, including creating, reviewing, and troubleshooting rules and security policies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security concepts such as IAM, access control, environment segregation, virtual network security, and workload protection.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and a critical perspective on security architecture.
