About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and schedule internal and external logistics, reviewing orders, delivery deadlines against production capacity and logistical resources to optimize time, reduce costs, and meet pre-established deadlines and conditions.
- Analyze forecasts and schedules together with the Production Planning area, checking order quantities and verifying prepared schedules to meet customer deadlines and maintain inventory levels sufficient to support manufacturing needs, taking production capacity and conditions into account.
- Check availability of parts requested by customers in corporate inventories, perform intercompany transfers, and trigger part productions when required.
- Conduct economic analyses and plan material requirements, overseeing routines related to commercialization, distribution, evaluation, movement, storage, classification, and inventory of materials and products.
- Assess the need to replenish materials, packaging and products, establishing economic order quantities for purchasing and managing inventories.
- Monitor the accuracy of lead-time information reported in specific reports with interface areas, sending weekly status updates to customers; identify and act on logistical factors that negatively impact order fulfillment performance.
- Develop, propose and validate suggestions for implementing service and logistics strategies.
- Track daily figures for billing vs. production, production vs. forecast, and inventory levels vs. consumption/forecast, analyzing reports and making adjustments as necessary to achieve the best productivity indices at the lowest cost within planned timelines; ensure inventory levels meet targets (RPlan) to maintain company cost competitiveness.
- Act as the contact point between Commercial and Production areas, supporting the fulfillment of parts deliveries to the aftermarket, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with agreed deadlines.
- Develop, propose and validate suggestions for implementing service and logistics strategies.
- Review and update departmental processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards, and participate in and implement projects relevant to the area.
- Manage replenishment of imported/third-party glass and accessories with support from the Purchasing area.
- Assist with export processes related to preparing proformas, monitoring license releases, and preparing packing lists for shipment.
- Participate in programs/plans (audits, emergency brigade, procedure reviews, training, etc.) of the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Management System; understand the environmental impacts and health & safety risks/hazards of your activities, as well as your responsibilities and the influence of your performance on the environment and on the personal health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related fields.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of analysis and automation tools.
- Experience with Power BI and VBA.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning.
- Knowledge of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
