About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for open roles
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and hiring teams, and prepare interview materials
  • Educate candidates about Insomniac’s mission, vision, and values while creating an engaging candidate experience
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load while balancing hiring speed with candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies, interview plans, and candidate assessment processes
  • Develop engagement strategies for pipelines of passive talent
  • Build and maintain a diverse network through market research, networking, referrals, and relationship-building
  • Research, implement, and improve sourcing strategies using online research, networking, social media, and other methods
  • Maintain candidate trackers, manage candidate disposition and decline communication, ensure ATS data integrity, and support recruiting workflow efficiency
  • Use recruiting metrics and market insights to inform hiring strategies and improve recruiting effectiveness
  • Participate in recruiting, networking, and community events to strengthen Insomniac’s employer brand and attract talent
  • Recruit, train, and onboard team members and support cross-functional partners
  • Complete special projects and other tasks as needed
  • Travel to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends when required to meet deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in entertainment, agency, or technology environments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Workday HRIS, and various ATS platforms
  • Experience using advanced digital tools for sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruiting operations
  • Strong proficiency in candidate sourcing techniques across various platforms
  • Experience with corporate recruiting policies, best practices, and entertainment industry trends
  • Experience conducting behavioral-based interviews, using pre-employment assessments, and applying structured interviewing techniques
  • Ability to evaluate technical qualifications and interpersonal competencies and make objective hiring recommendations
  • Proven ability to solve complex recruiting challenges and deliver measurable results as an individual contributor
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
  • Working knowledge of employment law, EEO compliance, and recruiting best practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information
  • Must tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
  • May work in drastic temperature climates at events
  • Must be willing to travel and work holidays, evenings, and weekends as required
