About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Development and operation of CI/CD pipelines based on Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Automation and continuous improvement of build, test, and deployment processes
  • Design, implementation and administration of Azure and on-premises infrastructures
  • Management and further development of Azure DevOps environments (repos, branching strategies, policies, permissions)
  • Planning, execution, and operation of releases in customer and internal system landscapes
  • Analysis and long-term resolution of incidents in complex system environments (e.g., builds, deployments, databases)
  • Implementation and operation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Support for the operation and further development of customer systems
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Close collaboration with development teams and customers as well as support in 2nd-level support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in a DevOps environment, ideally with customer-facing systems
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub (including Actions, Repos, Pipelines)
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures (Azure and on-premises)
  • Confident in CI/CD concepts and automation
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and, ideally, Kubernetes
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language, e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Experience with monitoring tools and operating production systems
  • Knowledge of areas such as DNS, certificate management, and identity management is an advantage
  • Experience troubleshooting complex system landscapes (e.g., builds, deployments, databases)
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and self-reliant working style
  • Strong ability to analyze and continuously improve processes
  • Clear communication and close, cooperative collaboration with different teams
