About the role
- Design and develop PeopleSoft HCM components including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements
- Lead the technical solution design and implementation through the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft projects
- Create and maintain functional and technical design documentation
- Perform unit testing, issue resolution, and system integration testing
- Translate business challenges into effective technical solutions
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries and custom modules
- Conduct vulnerability research and penetration testing for secure application design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Ensure compliance with software standards and secure coding practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience
- At least 10 years of total technical experience in large-scale system design and production support
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or higher
- Proficient in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Application Designer
- Experience in writing technical design documents and test plans
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Ability to work in Agile or IPT (Integrated Product Team) environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance (Required)
