About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • In this key role you take technical ownership of projects: from architecture to quality assurance, while leading a development team.
  • In close collaboration with project managers you develop concepts and decision frameworks that guide both clients and our teams confidently through projects.
  • You coach and mentor developers, introduce best practices, and establish standards.
  • You evaluate new technologies and ensure our solutions remain future-proof.
  • You balance hands-on coding with strategic foresight.
  • You translate complex requirements into smart, usable products.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You are an experienced web solutions architect — ideally with Craft CMS or another solid foundation; what matters is that you understand the mechanics behind it.
  • Strong experience with frontend frameworks, preferably Vue.js — and you know when which tool makes sense.
  • Extensive experience designing system architectures and integrations (APIs, e-commerce systems like Shopware, Headless CMS) and cloud environments.
  • You think beyond code and focus on solutions: scalability, security and sustainability are not buzzwords but daily practice.
  • You enjoy leading teams technically, sharing knowledge and setting high standards together.
  • Ideally a university of applied sciences (FH/HF) degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent German (English is a nice-to-have).

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • Passion for quality. Our products work well, look great, and provide users with a positive experience. This requires top-quality work at every step.
  • Gain experience in a dynamic business. Decisions here are impactful and shape our success. You have a voice and can make a real difference.
  • Enjoyable work environment. We're honest and open with each other, support and motivate one another. It's helpful if you can take (and occasionally dish out) a joke.
  • Always up to date. We value and encourage the use of new technologies. If you have a great idea, you'll get time to pursue it.
  • Flexible working hours. We don't impose strict constraints on work-life balance, as long as it's aligned with project needs.
  • Plenty of coffee to keep your energy up even on rainy days. We do latte art — hearts, cacti, 'flattened snail' and more.
