About the role

  • Plan, execute and document penetration tests (network, application, cloud)
  • Conduct Red Team exercises and advanced attack simulations
  • Identify, exploit and validate technical vulnerabilities
  • Actively participate in SOC activities, including alert monitoring and incident response
  • Perform vulnerability management activities, from identification to remediation
  • Carry out post-exploitation actions (privilege escalation, lateral movement, persistence)
  • Write clear, structured reports detailing impacts, risk levels and recommendations
  • Present findings to technical teams and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Identity and Access Management (IAM), GRC and Network teams
  • Maintain continuous threat intelligence on new threats, tools and attack techniques

Requirements

  • Strong experience in penetration testing and vulnerability exploitation (OWASP Top 10, CVE)
  • Knowledge of threat hunting and proactive security event analysis
  • Experience hardening systems and reducing the attack surface
  • Conduct internal security audits (e.g., PingCastle) and support teams in remediation
  • Expertise in organization-wide vulnerability management
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR
  • Environments — Systems: Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Azure
  • Networks: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN
  • Security tools: Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, BloodHound
  • Scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts and IAM (RBAC, MFA)
