About the role
- Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on the Microsoft Fabric platform.
- Integrate complex sources such as SAP BW and other enterprise systems.
- Structure reusable, governed data products ready for consumption by AI solutions.
- Collaborate on the implementation of automation patterns.
- Apply rigorous standards for data governance, lineage and data quality.
- Diagnose performance issues and ensure production pipeline stability.
- Stay closely informed of the evolution of Microsoft Fabric tools and SAP integration approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, BI or related disciplines.
- Deep proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Power BI and Lakehouse architectures.
- Strong experience integrating data from ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Experience managing real-time data streams.
- Excellent command of SQL, Python, Java, C#, KQL and PowerShell for automation and data ingestion.
- Proven ability to design and maintain robust production-grade pipelines.
- Solid understanding of DataOps practices, data governance and observability.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Significant experience optimizing performance in high-volume environments.
