About the role

  • Identify information security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain active monitoring of system integrity and respond to detected anomalous activity.
  • Administer logging, detection, and monitoring tools used in cyber defense operations.
  • Respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review security configurations for workstations, applications, and IT infrastructure.
  • Test, deploy, and maintain security tools to ensure that protections in place are adequate.
  • Implement countermeasures during security events, relying on the incident response plan.
  • Continuously monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive adjustments.
  • Contribute to technical and operational documentation in support of cyber defense activities.
  • Maintain and evolve a cybersecurity lab environment for simulation and validation purposes.

Requirements

  • Overall experience: at least 10 years in information technology, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience protecting Windows and Linux systems (hardening, vulnerability analysis, attacks).
  • Strong proficiency with the security features of Microsoft 365.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (ATP) and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (Azure Defender).
  • Proven expertise in at least three of the following areas: Application security (Web), Operating system protection, Database security, Securing virtualized infrastructures, Network technologies and secure protocols, Cloud environments (security, governance, compliance).
  • Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 2700x, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Possession of at least one recognized certification among: CISSP, CySA+, Security+, CASP+, or an equivalent.
