About the role
- Will take part in the deployment of a new hydraulic test bench
- Actively participate in the design and validation of means to accommodate hydraulic equipment
- Analyze the execution of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for hydraulic equipment on existing test benches
- Identify necessary adaptations for the new test bench
- Contribute to design studies and to the definition of DressKits for hydraulic equipment
- Create 3D models and associated definition drawings
- Draft and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) to selected suppliers
- Analyze technical responses and participate in supplier selection
- Build mock-ups, perform pre-assembly and shakedown tests on the hydraulic test bench
- Contribute to fine-tuning and robustness of technical solutions
- Participate in business and project progress meetings
- Contribute to exporting the complete test bench into technical databases (SMARTEAM, LASCOM)
- Ensure traceability and update of technical data
Requirements
- Degree in general mechanical engineering with a design orientation
- 3 to 4 years of experience in hydraulic systems and/or test equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and associated components (pumps, valves, filters, hydraulic manifolds...)
- Ability to read, create and modify hydraulic schematics (proficiency with hydraulic symbols)
- At least 2 to 3 years' experience in tooling and rotating component design
- Very good knowledge of drive systems (splines, Oldham coupling, keys...)
- Proficiency in functional dimensioning and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent command of CATIA V5: Part Design, Generative Shape Design / Metal
- Ability to work with technical databases (SMARTEAM, LASCOM)
