About the role

  • Drive the management of non-conformities detected at receipt, during inspection, on the shop floor, or at customer sites.
  • Lead problem resolution with suppliers using the 8D methodology, including supplier visits and audits.
  • Contribute to the approval of supplier deviation requests.
  • Validate DVI (Industrial Validation Dossier) and FAI (First Article Inspection), incorporating internal and customer requirements.
  • Establish regular governance rituals with critical suppliers to sustainably improve their performance.
  • Participate in quality routines and supplier performance reviews.
  • Support suppliers in maturing their DVI/PPAP and APQP processes and in the industrialization of new products.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement plans and supplier improvement programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Production Engineering (productique) with significant experience, or Master’s/engineering degree (Bac+5) with significant experience in quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, ideally in an industrial environment, precision mechanics, or the aerospace sector.
  • Strong knowledge of production quality and supplier monitoring.
  • Familiarity with industrial qualification processes: DVI, FAI, PPAP, APQP.
  • Experience with problem-solving methods: 8D, 5M (5Ms), Ishikawa (fishbone).
  • Proficiency in quality audit techniques.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to show firmness and diplomacy when managing supplier relationships.
