About the role
- Design and update electrical architecture documents and main/power schematics
- Specify electrical devices (circuit breakers, switches, contactors, cables, wires, etc.) and produce electrical synoptic diagrams
- Design electrical harnesses and ensure sizing of cable bundles and wiring
- Analyze and integrate incoming data from other departments (Train Systems, Train Control, Train Design, etc.)
- Provide technical reporting to the client for your scope
- Participate in design and deliverable reviews, ensuring compliance with quality, cost and schedule
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and professional tools
Requirements
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in electrical design
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and schematic design
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools, ideally IGE XAO
- Good fundamentals in industrialization of cable harnesses
- Professional English (written and spoken)
