About the role
- UI/UX Design: Conduct user research and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into compelling user experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides, ensuring product consistency.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Present design concepts and articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
- Full Stack Development: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, and testing.
- Develop solutions using C# .NET and apply reusable design patterns.
- Collaborate with developers, UX designers, infrastructure architects, and QA testers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide level of effort estimates and contribute to project planning.
- Research and adopt best practices and design patterns for development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission. (Active Secret clearance preferred.)
- Must have one of the approved 8570 Baseline Certifications: Category IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and full stack development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Axure.
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (such as jQuery, Kendo UI, TypeScript, Angular), and ORM tools like ADO.NET and Entity Framework.
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Familiarity with responsive design, web/mobile standards, and knowledge of front-end technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.
