About the role

  • Conduct user research and analyze feedback to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into compelling user experiences
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides, ensuring product consistency
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
  • Present design concepts and articulate the rationale behind design decisions
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, and testing
  • Develop solutions using C# .NET and apply reusable design patterns
  • Collaborate with developers, UX designers, infrastructure architects, and QA testers to deliver integrated solutions
  • Provide level of effort estimates and contribute to project planning
  • Research and adopt best practices and design patterns for development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission
  • Active Secret clearance preferred
  • Must have one of the approved 8570 Baseline Certifications: Category IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and full stack development
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Axure
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (such as jQuery, Kendo UI, TypeScript, Angular)
  • Experience with ORM tools like ADO.NET and Entity Framework
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Familiarity with responsive design, web/mobile standards, and knowledge of front-end technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team
