About the role

Conduct user research and analyze feedback to inform design decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into compelling user experiences
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
Develop and maintain design systems and style guides, ensuring product consistency
Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
Present design concepts and articulate the rationale behind design decisions
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, and testing
Develop solutions using C# .NET and apply reusable design patterns
Collaborate with developers, UX designers, infrastructure architects, and QA testers to deliver integrated solutions
Provide level of effort estimates and contribute to project planning
Research and adopt best practices and design patterns for development
Perform other duties as assigned

Must be a US Citizen
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission
Active Secret clearance preferred
Must have one of the approved 8570 Baseline Certifications: Category IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and full stack development
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects
Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Axure
Experience with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (such as jQuery, Kendo UI, TypeScript, Angular)
Experience with ORM tools like ADO.NET and Entity Framework
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
Familiarity with responsive design, web/mobile standards, and knowledge of front-end technologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team
