About the role
- Develop, write, and edit educational content, including interactive textbooks, lesson plans, quizzes, and instructional guides.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure content is accurate and relevant and adheres to project requirements and academic standards.
- Tailor content to accommodate different learning styles, audiences, and educational platforms.
- Review and proofread content to ensure it meets academic standards and is error-free.
- Revise content based on feedback from stakeholders and students.
- Ensure all course room elements are optimized for student learning.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in an adult learning environment.
- Strong skills in writing and editing educational materials required.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in academic content creation is required.
- LMS/Canvas experience is preferred.
- Experience with design elements and patterns to modernize the course room is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with coding/coding tools (HTML5, Javascript, SQL, H5P) and/or AI prompt writing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with instructional design and curriculum development for adult learners; work experience and/or educational background in instructional design is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous experience completing projects with cross-functional teams strongly preferred.
