About the role
- Lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs and new business pursuits in the Weapons Integration & Mission Solutions (WIMS) Business Unit
- Work alongside fellow engineering professionals to provide engineering solutions for customers
- Foster the establishment and maintenance of a world class Software and Digital Technologies organization
- Provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization
- Collaborate with peers across multiple organizations to achieve sustainable top performance
- Actively participate in engineering activities related to the Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or other STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects
- An active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance
- Experience in managing the implementation and delivery of sophisticated engineering solutions in support of Government customers
- Previous experience in people and/or technical leadership roles
- Must have 85% coverage on an existing direct program OR qualify for an open Northrop Grumman requisition at Beavercreek or WPAFB for a technical engineering role.
