About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drafts, reviews, & executes Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with strategic supply partners.
- Authors & issues Requests for Information (RFIs) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to obtain supplier pricing & technical data.
- Receives & reviews Consolidated Bill of Materials (CBOMs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Prioritizes high-dollar, critical long-lead item, and/or unpriced line items for RFIs/RFQs.
- Evaluates supplier bids & establishes price reasonableness to support the prime proposal's cost volume.
- Collaborates with Capture, Proposal, Contracts, Engineering, & Material Estimating teams to align supplier capabilities with overall win themes.
- Ensures adherence to frameworks like FAR/DFARS, public law requirements, export control requirements such as ITAR/EAR, as well as company (and business) policies and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, subcontracts, proposals, or contracts.
- Or in lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, subcontracts, proposals, or contracts.
- FAR/DFAR experience
- Experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) with hundreds/thousands of line items
- Experience working on bid & proposals
- Costpoint/SAP knowledge
