About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Dispositioning and validating data from maintainers
- Working with responsible engineers to determine root cause of failure modes
- Working with control centers to update/correct maintainer-entered data as necessary
- Analyzing trending failure modes to generate recommendations
- Collaborate with other Product Support functions in support of wider analyses
- Lead customer meetings validating corrective action plan
- Coach team on root cause analysis and design/software change implementation
- Drive process improvements and streamlining
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
- 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 years of related engineering experience
- Experience in Reliability Engineering
- Active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP PARs following commencement of employment to be able to completely support statement of work
