About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
  • Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
  • Work independently
  • Problem solve and find creative solutions
  • Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
  • Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
  • Experience in MS Office suite. Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
