About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
- Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
- Work independently
- Problem solve and find creative solutions
- Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
- Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
- Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Experience in MS Office suite. Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
