About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support capability elicitation and derivation of requirements to realize requested development.
- Collaborate in defining and developing processes and procedures.
- Research and gain experience with missile defense concepts, space-based sensor phenomenology, and threat model trajectories.
- Work in close coordination with senior engineers to develop systems engineering artifacts supporting development and testing.
- Participate in the development and update of technical documentation, system requirements, and user guides for simulation tools.
- Provide briefings to customer(s) and stakeholder(s) related to technical solutions, process development and updates, and system engineering artifacts.
- Support training and orientation of simulation tools.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM with 0–2 years of related work experience
- Practical experience executing or analyzing results from military modeling and simulation (M&S) frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, scripting, or automation using Python, MATLAB, or C++
- Basic understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts
- Basic experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw
- Must be self-motivated and capable of executing technical tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret Clearance at the time of application which is required to start; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI
