About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, configure, and maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and associated cost-schedule control infrastructure
  • Apply EVMS principles and performance-measurement-baseline concepts across multiple control accounts within the Integrated Product Team
  • Develop, update, and sustain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated budgeting/scheduling data
  • Produce and present internal and external variance-analysis reports
  • Prepare and submit government cost-performance reports, briefings, and performance-measurement analyses
  • Operate SAP (or equivalent ERP) and Earned Value software (e.g., Deltek Cobra/MPM)
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Design and implement moderate-to-complex process improvements and new reporting methods
  • Interface regularly with program managers, functional managers, and Cost Account Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • 5 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience
  • A Masters degree with 3 years of experience
  • A PhD and 1 year of experience
  • A HS Diploma (or equivalent) with 9yrs experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, or comparable ERP/Earned Value Management tools
  • Proven ability to prepare and present briefings to senior-level internal and external customers
  • 1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval
