About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish, configure, and maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and associated cost-schedule control infrastructure
- Apply EVMS principles and performance-measurement-baseline concepts across multiple control accounts within the Integrated Product Team
- Develop, update, and sustain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated budgeting/scheduling data
- Produce and present internal and external variance-analysis reports
- Prepare and submit government cost-performance reports, briefings, and performance-measurement analyses
- Operate SAP (or equivalent ERP) and Earned Value software (e.g., Deltek Cobra/MPM)
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Design and implement moderate-to-complex process improvements and new reporting methods
- Interface regularly with program managers, functional managers, and Cost Account Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- 5 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience
- A Masters degree with 3 years of experience
- A PhD and 1 year of experience
- A HS Diploma (or equivalent) with 9yrs experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, or comparable ERP/Earned Value Management tools
- Proven ability to prepare and present briefings to senior-level internal and external customers
- 1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval
