About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates, contract dates and program communications.
  • Define and develop material strategy for on-time supplier delivery.
  • Proactively assess delivery risks and collaborate with Programs.
  • Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, expediting.
  • Complete quarterly supplier assessments (SAMS), facilitate Supplier Business Reviews (SBR’s), manage Supplier Management Plans and Supplier Production Readiness Reviews.
  • Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
  • Review requirements for non-standard parts, analyze lead times, and identify critical path procurements.
  • Analyze, aggregate, and prioritize supply/demand requirements.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers’ personnel for quick response.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field OR Bachelor’s degree minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Experience with team collaboration
  • Experience in resolving problems with peers and customers
  • Experience in supplier manufacturing
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
