About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and coordinate activities in support of material requirements, material cost accounting, and supplier management on an assigned program
  • Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers
  • Represent Northrop Grumman in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings
  • Oversee all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements
  • Identify and mitigate program risks as they pertain to material requirements
  • Prepare and execute Material Program Plans (MPPs) and supply strategy
  • Maintain program line of balance and ensure supplier deliveries are aligned with production schedule
  • Develop supply chain strategy – including supplier development and supplier risk management
  • Assist with billing/invoice issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience for level 3 or 12 years for level 4
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Masters degree with 3 years of experience for level 3
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience for level 4
  • 5 years of experience managing programs, subcontracts, materials, and/or services
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, and ITAR
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to acquire a Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
