About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and coordinate activities in support of material requirements, material cost accounting, and supplier management on an assigned program
- Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers
- Represent Northrop Grumman in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings
- Oversee all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements
- Identify and mitigate program risks as they pertain to material requirements
- Prepare and execute Material Program Plans (MPPs) and supply strategy
- Maintain program line of balance and ensure supplier deliveries are aligned with production schedule
- Develop supply chain strategy – including supplier development and supplier risk management
- Assist with billing/invoice issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 9 years of experience for level 3 or 12 years for level 4
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Masters degree with 3 years of experience for level 3
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience for level 4
- 5 years of experience managing programs, subcontracts, materials, and/or services
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, and ITAR
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Ability to acquire a Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
