About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build systems using engineering drawings, configuration & recovery documentation
- Support startup & shutdown procedures, ATP/Delivery, as well as post-delivery support
- Support the build and installation of custom cables and wire harness assemblies as well as tray assemblies from engineering drawings and interconnect diagrams
- Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics)
- Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of related professional/military experience for Level 3
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of related professional/military experience for Level 4
- Must have an active US Government clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards
- Working experience building and installing custom harness assemblies
- Working experience with industry standards for connectors including, but not limited to D38999, Dsub, twinax, RJ45
- Must be physically able to move up to 50 lbs.
- Must have color vision to identify cables and wires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learn new material quickly.
