About the role
- Responsible for a department within the Design Engineering organization
- Set operating objectives and provide mentorship to Functional Home Room (FHR) Section Managers
- Provide oversight and assistance to multiple business areas within the division portfolio
- Manage planning, risk, project performance, schedule, technical quality
- Assist engineers and program staff to develop and maintain talent within the organization
- Lead a team of engineering managers across multiple disciplines
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 3 years in a formal management position
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
- The ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time
- At least 1 year of experience working in the Aerospace and or the Defense field
- 3 years of experience as CAM and or EVMS
- Experience with the development of mechanical systems and/or physical infrastructure
- Knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines
- Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira
