About the role

  • Responsible for a department within the Design Engineering organization
  • Set operating objectives and provide mentorship to Functional Home Room (FHR) Section Managers
  • Provide oversight and assistance to multiple business areas within the division portfolio
  • Manage planning, risk, project performance, schedule, technical quality
  • Assist engineers and program staff to develop and maintain talent within the organization
  • Lead a team of engineering managers across multiple disciplines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a formal management position
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
  • The ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the Aerospace and or the Defense field
  • 3 years of experience as CAM and or EVMS
  • Experience with the development of mechanical systems and/or physical infrastructure
  • Knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines
  • Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira
