About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

help adapt a suite of mobile control station software applications to a cloud environment
participating in building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and infrastructure to deploy the solution to an Il-5 cloud environment including containerization, instrumentation, integration, security, and system test
work with multi-disciplinary teams, such as with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Dev*Ops, in an Agile software development environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 10 years of Software Engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with 8 years of Software Engineering experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time , as determined by the Company.
Experience with infrastructure components (VMs, containers, network, storage, Linux/Windows, and IT security concepts)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and micro-services
Experience with software-defined networking
Experience with a coding or scripting language
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence)
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Certified (associate level or above) in a cloud platform or - Azure Platform (>= Azure Administrator Associate) - AWS Platform (>= Solutions Architect Associate)
