About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the material strategy, aligning supply resources with corporate objectives and product line priorities
- Lead demand-supply planning with MRP tools; aggregate forecasts, assess purchase-material positions, and produce rough-cut capacity and production schedules
- Optimize inventory across dependent and independent BOMs, adjusting supply requirements to balance service levels, working capital, and stock-out risk
- Conduct make-vs-buy analysis and manage product phase-in, phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, and end-of-life transitions
- Partner with sourcing, operations, and finance to synchronize inventory targets, resolve non-standard part requirements, and mitigate critical-path procurements
- Support long-term capacity and resource planning to accommodate new product introductions while maintaining efficient utilization of existing assets
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of supply chain, contracts, subcontracts, procurement, logistics or other relevant experience
- Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
