About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the efforts of other Feature architecture personnel to develop system engineering artifacts necessary to scope software development
  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop rigorous and proper systems engineering and design artifacts. feature development, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification
  • Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature WS design of a large program
  • Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model
  • Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
  • Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis
  • Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with 12 years of experience; or master’s degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 8 years of experience
  • US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance
  • 4+ years’ experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing and executing Systems Engineering process governance documentation in a DoD Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase
  • 4+ years’ experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS
  • 4+ years’ experience on large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production
  • 2+ years’ experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products
