Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of talented infrastructure support engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs, and new business pursuits in the Weapons Integration & Mission Solutions (WIMS) Business Unit
Collaborate with engineering professionals to provide engineering solutions for customers
Foster the establishment and maintenance of a world-class Software and Digital Technologies organization
Provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization
Actively participate in engineering activities related to our Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or other STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
US Citizenship
Experience in managing the implementation and delivery of sophisticated engineering solutions in support of Government customers
Previous experience in people and/or technical leadership roles
Experience in one of the following infrastructure support areas: Experience working as a Database Administrator, Experience building databases, database recovery, disaster recovery, database backup and restoring, Experience upgrading and patching databases, Experience working as a System Administrator /Network Administrator, Experience administering/patching Linux and/or Windows systems, Experience in hardening practices, patch management, access-control principles, and compliance requirements, Experience with backup and recovery services, managing file systems and disk space
